The Innovation Unit at IIMCIP provides the following facilities to the corporate:
- Space to set up an Innovation Unit
- Access to knowledge resources at IIM Calcutta (IIM C).
- Involvement of IIM C students, research fellows and faculty in innovation projects
- Co-organising events to promote innovation & entrepreneurship and inspire young minds to work on innovative solutions on specified themes or challenges
- Mentorship support to innovative start-up ideas enabling creation of a sustainable business model which may be commercialized
- Connecting start-up ideas generated out of the Innovation unit to the VC and the angel network for funding
- Regular monitoring of projects
