On the occasion of International Women’s Day, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, in collaboration with Pernod Ricard India Foundation, hosted AGRANI in Guwahati—an inspiring celebration of women entrepreneurs who dare to dream, lead, and transform.
The event brought together trailblazing women founders and aspiring entrepreneurs, fostering an environment of learning, connection and growth. From a much-needed discussion on mental well-being led by clinical psychologist Dr. Priyanka Bhattacharjee to a thought-provoking panel discussion on challenges and solutions for women entrepreneurs, the day was filled with insights and shared experiences.
The panel, featuring Dr. Anubhuti Deorah (Co-Founder, PRO-TO-GROW; Co-Chair, Young Indians-Guwahati Chapter), Smitakshi B Goswami (Director, Pratidin Media Network), Shradhanjali Sarma (Legal Counsel, YVLC.legal), Kavita Verma (Co-Founder, ChfMart) and Syeda Fatima Bint Mazid (Co-Founder, BAFA Bags), and moderated by IIMCIP COO Pranjal Konwar, sparked powerful conversations on resilience, innovation and navigating the entrepreneurial journey.
Beyond discussions, AGRANI became a dynamic space where women entrepreneurs shared about their challenges, built meaningful connections and contributed to initiating a support network in the process that can uplift and empower them in their journeys ahead.
We are also deeply grateful to Subhasis Dash, North East Head – Manufacturing, Pernod Ricard India, and Sashi Kant Saha, Assistant Manager – Production, Pernod Ricard India, for their presence at the event and for enlightening the audience on the organisation’s dedication to fostering entrepreneurship, including the soon-to-be-launched startup programme for North East India under the Pernod Ricard India Foundation.
